Sunday Times Magazine Front Cover

Hello hello! Well I have to say this week has been pretty exciting in the studio, as on Sunday 27th my Illustration of the Queen appeared on the front cover of the Sunday Times Magazine. Eeeek! We rushed out at 8am to buy ourselves a copy and generally squeal at the top of our voices (I think probably only dogs could hear) at the utter excitement of it all. For this is no ordinary edition of the Sunday Times Magazine, it is the special Jubilee collector's edition no less! I feel very privileged to have had my illustration seen by over 2 million people, and very lucky indeed that Alyson - the lovely Art Director at the Sunday Times decided to use my image. So thank you Alyson.

In other Diamond Jubilee-related news, I also worked with the team at Browns to design their Jubilee windows, which you can see in all their glory at South Molton Street. But I will save that for another post.

Thank you also to everyone that has sent me such lovely comments about the Sunday Times Magazine cover, it's been quite overwhelming and I really appreciate all your support and kind words.

If you missed the paper on Sunday but would still like a keep sake of the Diamond Jubilee featuring my Illustration of the Queen, you can buy a print, tea towel or bone china mug from my shop.

So here is a peek at the front cover...
