Browns Fashion Jubilee Window Display

Morning! I wanted to share with you an exciting project that I have just started working on, with Browns Fashion and a very talented paper cut artist Anissa Lee . Myself and Anissa will be working together to create a very special window display for Browns to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.

I'm also working with Joanna Galanis who heads up Browns Visual Merchandising team, and who is not only a super, super lovely lady but also absolutely fantastic at what she does. So this is a project I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in to! We've already come up with really lovely concept which I can't wait to share. All will be revealed in a month or so!

I think it's also going to be lovely working with Anissa and seeing her bring some of my ideas to life in paper. It's great when you meet a like-minded artist who is genuinely lovely and fabulous at what they do. I love the way Anissa likes to work with the idea of storytelling in order to immerse the viewer into another world. She says "The narrative is projected onto paper, which starts as a plain blank sheet
and transforms into something magical, using something so simple as a hand and a scalpel."
Here is a peek at the beautiful things that Anissa can do with a humble sheet of paper...
